Kim was raised in Anchorage, Alaska and moved to Washington in 1995 to complete her bachelor’s degree in nursing. She accepted a position as a veterinary receptionist while finishing her education at the University of Washington and though she had every intention of beginning her career as a nurse after graduating, when the time came, she couldn’t bring herself to leave. Still in the field 27 years later, Kim has never regretted her decision!
Kim has been an active member of the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association (VHMA) since 2001 and in 2006, she tested for and earned the designation of Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM). She currently serves as Secretary on the VHMA Board of Directors.
A couple of Kim’s professional passions include communication, education, building relationships with clients and th
eir pets, and collaborating with the talented and passionate team members she works with.
During her free time, she can be found spending time with her family and friends, reading, playing games, being outdoors, and snuggling up in the evenings with her wonderful dog, “Hatch” and her 2 sweetheart cats, “Butters” and “Scotch”.
Kim is beyond excited to be a part of the Cascade Heights Veterinary Center team and is looking forward to meeting you!
